A few months back I saw a contest on one of Tony Stewart's websites, so I figured what the heck...why not enter. Well lo and behold, I have been selected as a finalist in the contest. When I got home today there was a letter in the mailbox telling me I have been selected as a finalist. Here's some info about the contest and a link to the site showing I have been selected as a finalist.
HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: Take a photograph of yourself displaying your personal “Swagger.” Your photo must include the Old Spice Logo or the Swagger Logo (the Old Spice and Swagger logos will be available on the contest web site). In addition, your photo may also include the Tony Stewart / #14 marks, the Office Depot® logo and/or the NASCAR® logo.
JUDGING: All eligible entries received will be preliminarily judged by a panel of Sponsor representatives to determine the top 20 entries, each deemed a Finalist entry. The 20 Finalist entries will then be judged by Tony Stewart and/or his pit crew to determine the Finalist judging score for each Finalist entry. All judging will be based on the following criteria: Overall “Swagger” exhibited by entrant as evidenced in photo – 60%; Originality & Creativity of Photo – 40%. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute another judge or panel of judges if Tony Stewart and/or his pit crew is unavailable.
ONLINE VOTING: Beginning 12:00:01 AM ET on 10/19/09 through 11:59:59 PM ET on 10/26/09, the 20 Finalists’ entries will be posted on www.swaggerizenascar.com. During these dates, website visitors will be given the opportunity to select their favorite entry to help determine the Grand Prize winner by following the online instructions. Online voting scores will carry a 20% weight in the determination of the winner. The number of votes received will be combined with the Finalist judging scores. The Finalist with the highest combined score will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. All remaining Finalists will be deemed Runner-Up Prize winners.
PRIZES: Twenty (20) prizes, with a total Approximate Retail Value of $22,150.00 will be available as follows: (1) Grand Prize: Winner will receive a check in the amount of $14,000.00, plus, a 3-day/2-night trip for winner and a guest to attend a Sponsor-specified NASCAR®-sanctioned Race. Prize includes two admission tickets to the race, two VIP credentials, round-trip coach air transportation from major airport nearest winner’s home, round-trip ground transfers to/from airport/hotel and hotel/race, two-nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) and $1,000 spending money (awarded to winner). In addition, winner and guest may have the opportunity to meet Tony Stewart at the race. ARV of Grand Prize: $21,200.00. (19) Runner-Up Prizes: Each runner-up will receive an Old Spice® gift package consisting of selection of Sponsor-specified products/items (ARV: $50.00 per prize).
WINNERS: The names of the Grand Prize winner and Runner-Up Prize winners will be posted online at www.swaggerizenascar.com beginning on/about 11/9/09 through 11/30/09.
