upside down

Smoke Wagon

rolled the big 90k this week.
Bought it Dec 31, 2007, at 32,no no no miles
now, less than 2 years later, almost 60k have been added.

so far, only things needed have been-
oil changes
front brake pads and rotors
2 tires
thermostat
2 cabin air filters
1 engine air filter

I also replaced the seat covers with factory ebony covers and the carpet as well. That was by choice...

looking forward to 60k more.
I have given up on trying to sell it/trade it in. I rack up the miles faster than I pay it off, so I will forever be upside down in this car. The trade-in value is not much better than a 1995 Chevy truck with 2x the miles....sad, but true. That's because these cars are unique-only certain people like them, so that sort of limits their marketability.

I know what you mean and it sucks. I mean dont get me wrong I love the car but Ive been trying to get out of this payment for awhile now with out hurting my credit cause I just cant afford it with the cut backs at work and everything else just pilling up.

Smoke Wagon

since I lost 2 days a month at work plus the lost hours on top of that, I finally had a day to devote to the Smoke Wagon.

I spent about 3 hours on Friday detailing my HHR...I hadn't washed it in over a month(odd weather/schedule) and I cant/wont drive through a car wash-if I'm gonna wash it myself, I am going to do a nice job...well, washed, waxed, windows, interior, tire dressing, the works.

looks as good as it did when I used to clean it religiously.

still like the car...wish I had something more comfy, but I dont blame the car...it isn't a bad car, it just isn't exactly what I thought I wanted.
