The winter months are still here, but there is a Great show coming to Florida.
A Corvettes and Chevy Show!

When you ask? Sat Feb 28, 2009

Where? Gilchrist Park on the Peace River (Charlotte Harbor)
off I-75, Exit 164 West 2.2 miles(Punta Gorda)

from 8a to 4p

Lots of cars to look at and lots of things to do!

Lets all go and have some fun!!!

Well I just got back,,,,All I can say is WoW!

Was nice to see Don (Don1948) again and he brought his neighbor Fred.
Was oh so nice the see Jim and Norma (JIC_NBC) again, it has been a long time, and thier Black Vette.
Met 2 new HHR Owners Steve (Ratracer he has a Red SS) and Rick (White Flash II he has a White HHR Panel and a nice White Vette)

Must have been over a few Millions of dollars worth of cars 95 % Vettes!
There were so many to take pics,,but I forgot to recharge the battery.
Older cars were there as well about a total of 20 or less(no pics thu).

Two other HHR owners were there but they brought thier Corvettes.

We saw about 5 other HHRs including a Silver SS, parked on the side of the road. As well as 2 Red SSR, and one Yellow SSR.

I am sunburned good,,but that is okay,,we have a wet and rainy front coming in on Sunday. Todays temp was 84 with a nice breeze.

Also met a very nice young man that does Auto Detailing in the Central FL areas,,he drives his Corvette to your home!
He hopes to be joining this forum soon!

I get to add 2 more names to my HHR owners met list now. Mr. Green

But 3 HHRs did met.
Steve has the Red SS, Don has the Silver, and then there is NEMO.

But cause the show was a Corvette and Chevy,,,well look at some vettes
