I've got 2. An older 3.2 megapx S30 Canon and A brand new 6 megapx SD600 Canon for my wife. Both work very well, I still love the older one for me.
Thanks everyone for posting in this thread. I just love all the info I can get here. I will be camera shopping this weekend then will have to take pictures of Molly to learn how the new one works!! I will let everyone know what kind I end up with.
My wife uses her Fuji S7000 for when she wants to lug around the "big" camera. 12mp with 1gb CF card and 512mb XD card in it at all times. We have a nikon coolpix L4 for our point and shoot.

I am an imaging tech for a Sheriff's Dept. I use a Nikon D70 for work. My personal cameras are a Canon G9, an old Nikon digicam that is a dedicated IR camera and a Canon 30D. I have a wide angle lens, Portrait lens and a 100-400 IS zoom. I'm thinking I need another camera soon but I have a new HHR to spend money on now. I love to document everything so you will get lots of pictures.

Deb, I have an old 2mp Canon that I love, but it just won't do distance. So I'm looking. Had a friend recommend a Nikon P80 but the reviews online weren't all that great. My son has an older Fuji that took terrific pics. Since you seem to have experience with several brands and types - I'm looking for something that'll do some good distance photos, good HHR photos, and grandkid photos. Maybe a little more technical than point and shoot - I'm not a total idiot and can read and figure things out. I'd like to be able to take some really nice shots and not delete most of them!!

I use a Pentax K100D. I mainly decided on this camera because I have 6 lens from my older Pentax K1000 film camera that will fit the new K100D. They fit and work great!!! :mrgreen:

Would love to go back to SLR (tho now digital) since i miss my 35mm SLR stuff i had , and sold when i went digital.
ill be getting a nokia when i dont know but if i get anything else ill get hit.. lol not really but the bf prefers nokia and he works for a photographer/is a photographer so i wont argue.. its all he uses i dont even know what he has hes got a pro camera with all different detachable flashes and lenses so when he comes home and gets his new lense ill get my little nokia ill let everyone know which one

I got a new Canon SD790 IS for Christmas. Seem to have the indoor pics down, now have to work with the outdoor and distance to see if it'll do what I was looking for. If not, it'll be a while, but I'll still be looking!
i got the new nokia s60 with the touch screen im sure everyone has seen the commercial with ashton kutcher at the party taking pictures and writing on the screen of the camera.. thats what i have.. got it for christmas.. but the weather hasnt been totally cooperative.. im not a big camrea user but i really like the camera..
