What Kind Of Digital Camera Do You Use?
Please share with others what type of digital camera you use. I think it would be interesting to see different types and hear what you think of your camera. Mine is a Samsung Digimax i500 that is 5.1 megapixels that comes in silver and black (I have the black). It has a ton of great features and is quite easy to use. Here's a link to their website so you can see more about it's features. I paid $149 for it and have since added a 256mb SD car which allows me to take a ton of pictures. http://www.samsungcamera.com/product/pro_view.asp?prol_uid=1057&cat_uid=11

After the commerical with Aerosmith I had to have the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1, I LOVE this camera..it is so easy to use and it shoots video as well. I have the Sony DSC-R1. I ADORE it!!! I've taken over 3000 pictures since January. Of course, had we known that Sony would be coming out with a DSLR this year for the same dang price, we may have waited on it. Oh well.

The big thing for me is to have multiple media for each one and a laptop to transfer the pics to. My wife can easily take over 1000 pics in a weekend in the montains.

BamaHHR- 09-20-2006

Yes, I agree. I have 2 2GB sticks and a laptop or 2 that are with us wherever we go. I'd take 1000 pics in a weekend if I were in the mountains, too :)

I'll post on our camera in a bit... gotta get all the lil info on it, but it's a Cannon and we love it... Gambler, that looks to be a DeLorme GPS unit on the dash there with the Veo... I use DeLorme too and I love it. Great lil GPS system for the money. Mine was $150 total package, so much better than paying near $1000 for one of those in-car GPS systems, plus I always have my laptop available... I do need to order the new map disk for mine tho, I'm operating on 2005... lol CBL

yep thats a Delorme . I wish I had known earlier, I just sold my 2006 version on ebay for $20. I am upgrading to 2007 this weekend. It has satelite image overlay. We use the GPS and webcams to stream video and location when we go on trips for ExtremeRoadTrips.com

Kodak DX7590 been one of the best Digital Cameras i have owned great videos and sound great pics- only 5 mega pizels, still good. side flash connection for better flash most important, i have not bought one battery ever for it and the base and charger work great.

OH-SKOOL- 09-20-2006

I use a Fuji Finepix A340 4.0 mega pixels. Easy for us computer Ld types! lol

CowboyBornLate- 09-20-2006

Ours is a Canon Rebel EOS... 8 mega pixels, forget what size the memory disk is, but it holds a ton of pics. We bought it a lil over a year ago primarily for the boys baseball to get good pics. Bought a big ol zoom lens for it at the same time and it was pricey all together, and I had to convince Matty that it was a lifetime investment and over the years of use we would get it'd be worth it to get a really good camera. She bought off on the idea finally. Now if I can just do the same with a couple of the mods on the HHR, I'll be set! lol CBL

I have a Pentax *ist DL. Still getting used to using an SLR again after not having one for a few years.

CJ N Shagy- 09-26-2006

i used Minolta SLRs for years i would like have one that is digital, i just have other things i would rather spend the money on my Kodak is as close to a SLR as i can afford and i love the video it shoots here is my camera and description Almost a year after Kodak announced its first 10x zoom camera, it announced its new flagship digital camera and second 10x zoom model, the 5 megapixel EasyShare DX7590. The SLR-styled camera boasts a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 38-380mm lens which can reach its optimum zoom in two seconds. The new model offers just one million more pixels than the EasyShare DX6490. The DX7590 combines fully manual operation with point and shoot ease of use, and is aimed at both beginners and enthusiasts. It offers 16 program modes, as well as a 2.2-inch LCD screen and EVF. Let's have a look at the key features. Professional-quality Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 10x optical zoom lens 5.0 MP for stunning-quality prints up to 20x30" (50x76 cm) Exclusive Kodak Color Science Image Processing Chip 2.2" high-resolution indoor/outdoor display Manual and custom controls High-speed, low-light auto-focus Continuous shooting and bracketing mode 22 scene and color modes One-touch simple sharing the best thing i have noticed about this camera is the rechargeable batteries really work. it came w a base that docks for transfer and charges the batteries. it shoots alot of pics before running out and you have to use flash to get it to run out. Great digital camera and has a boot on the side to put a flash. a plug for a separate av plug love the camera and easy to use
