WATER LEAK
I have a 2006 HHR w/31,000 miles. Yesterday after a heavy rain I discoverd my passenger side floor mat and rug was soaking wet. Upon further investation I felt up under the dash behind the glovebox and the material (felt ?) was wet. My car in in the shop at Folsom Chevrolet. Will not know aything until tomorrow. Has anyone else had these issue?

If you have a sunroof, here is another link on the leak I had from my sunroof. forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2403" target="_blank">http://hhrchevyfamily.19.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=2403 I also had to repair the patch for the same reason that CJ illustrated in his post. Also, the small black plastic pipe that runs through the firewall that is the drain for the Air Conditioning has a rubber or felt grommet around it and the firewall. I noticed that if my car was sitting uphill water would run down through and collect on top of the pipe and then run back into the passenger side. I put some black silicone around the tube where it came through the firewall and fixed that one too. No leaks for the past 6 months after all of those fixes.

It took over a year and 6 visits to track down the leaks in mine. The first one was the drain tube in the sunroof. I had it back to that dealer 2 more times and they couldn't find anything, but living close by we would check and knew they weren't even moving the car. After being told that I would get a loaner if I had purchased the car from them we made the trek back to the dealership that sold it to us. They found three leaks and repaired them and it did help but didn't stop all of it, finally after following my instructions on how to position the car and where to direct the water they found the last one. My HHR has been leak free for about 5 months now. Mine is a 2006.
