splash guards.. a.k.a mud flaps
I picked up my splash guards from the dealer and put them on... the directions want me to drill a hole in the panels underneath to put in a screw on the underside.... I think they stay on just fine without that. and I just am not crazy about drilling holes...... anyone else omit these when installing theirs?

that screw is important if it isnt in it will move while driving and scratch the exterior of your car where it comes around the side. it did mine.

CJ is right as always, I drilled mine with a dremmel, small hole. Takes a few min to save you a lot of trouble down the road.

Put my little screws in too.... No biggy nylon bumper cover.. was hesitant taking a drill to my new car. but I live on the wild side!!! Yeah right.

I drilled a few to attach mine as well. Felt a whole lot better doing it to the plastic that I would drilling hole in sheet metal.

I decided to use a self drilling screw on the bottoms, worked out very well... picked up some stainless steel hardware and zipped them in.. I drove my it up onto some big bricks i have to get he front high enough to get my screw gun underneath... they mud flaps are on much more snug.... im thinking about maybe getting them painted to match the body

The only thing I might worry about in painting them is that they take a beating from the road and just might be hard to keep from chipping and looking good. I have them on my silverstone and I just keep them looking good with some mothers back to black or some WD40
