your 06 does not have the Iridiums
i got mine at OReillys and could tell a difference in low end and pick up when i put them in.
i had Bosch and a tip broke so i put in Iridiums and no problems so far at all. some people w 06's have had coils going out w the Boschs.
Todd has had the Bosch in his HHR for 80,000+.
this is funny... i replaced my plugs at 3000 miles with BOSCH 4 plus. now i have to see if i saved the originals... or there is alot of GOOD words about the MOTORCRAFT plugs... which should be Iridiums.
was wondering about the duel spark because the Pulstars are capacitive discharge... there couldn t be a reverse spark... i think.
if you havent had any problems w the Bosch then leave them alone.

i had autolites in the they were OK but the Bosch and Iridiums had more kick
found some of the threads that talk about pulstar problems... i can see where they could create some of the problems describe with todays electronics... the theory sounds right... just tomany variables in todays engines... until you see independent -*test*-('")s and not just drag strip times they might be something i ll leave off of my to do list.
talked to my bud the auto electric shop yesterday... (he has a 08 hhr)... he wasn t familiar with the pulstar or the e3... but came to the same conclusions that i did... not enough objective -*test*-('")ing. he felt that the iridium and platinums were probably fairly equal. he wasn t sure if the ecotec has a cleansing spark.
from what i have seen on the posts... it s a toss up... twenty years ago this plug would have been cheaper than an CD/HEI system... today there are allot of risks.
it is kinda like the guy that absolutely hates his HHR... the rest of us love ours... do we get rid of ours because a couple of owners are disappointed... noooooo. i am going to sit back and see what happens in the future... my little 283 is so much easier.
just tought... i might try some ricers sights. the kids today are sqeezing a lot of HP out of their rides. even my son/friend were getting unreal hp out of a vw bug... even started marketing some of their mods.
I had my sons Nissan Sentra Spec V in the shop this week and the tech told him not to use the Bosch plugs. He said they mess up alot of the nissans for some reason. He explained it to him but I wasnt listening. He advised me not to use them on the HHR also. This is the 2nd dealership that has spoke bad about the bosch plugs. Thats good enough for me to not use them.
We take out alot of bosch here and don't go back in,mostley we use, ac delco platinum, or ngk. both have a proven track record with our shop..
