When doing your Christmas cards this year, take one card and send it to

OK, before you get real excited....... I did this last year and after about 8 weeks I got my card back with a nice little note. They haven't accepted cards or boxes for that matter, addressed to non-specific soldiers since shortly after 9/11. They consider it a safety/security risk.
I got a nice list of places to donate funds to ~ basically you can google for military donations and find organizations that you can send things to or that will actually give you the name of someone you can send cards/boxes to.
I checked on what REDFLYR posted. I called Walter Reed and they will accept the cards BUT you must not seal the envelope and send it here:
The only difference is line two you enter RED CROSS
