Silverstone SS

I picked this up on Jan. 22nd. Did not doing any posting until I suprised the So Cal HHRs at G2G this past weekend.
Nice!!! Good to know that my birthday brought a good day to someone else as well! Looking forward to more photos, both inside & out.
So how do you like it so far?
That sweet looking SS HHr...Congrats
One Nice Ride There! :luv:
Congratulations Charles! Nice Ride!
Great look ride there :woohoo:
That's awesome Charles. Congrats on the new purchase. I know I would have had a very hard time keeping that a secret for so long.
Way to go.
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Congrats Charles
fill us in a lil
Std or auto
what do you think so far of its ride and abilities?
comparisson of the 2 especially since you have owned both and want to know ur assessment.
Great Lookin SS there ,Charles , good job of keepin it hidden !
The new SS is an auto with ebony interior, 6 disc, sunroof and roof rails.
It has a much firmer ride than the 2LT and reminds me of my '89 Vette's ride. I can tell just taking off from a start there is more power and putting the foot down it puts back in the seat.
The steering seem a little smaller overall but a thicker grip. The steering wheel audio buttons are easier to distinguish from each other. The window switches are on the door now (first couple of times I reached for the center)
Overall if you like your current HHR do not -*test*-('") drive the SS or the same will happen to you. I was not planning on buying. I was dropping my 2LT off the get the carpet replaced from the water leak and the mud flaps installed and a new short shifter installed. Three hours later pulled the '06 out of service the get everything transferred.
So I have a new born on date 12/21/07.
I am a year one owner twice now?
Cool Charles and smart to keep it under covers till you did.
NICE!
