Side cold air intake box for CGS- any CGS owners interested?
Would there be any interest in a aliminum box that would completely cover a CGS or Outlaw filter and attach to the side wall for air and have a hole on the front side that had a hose that went to the front of the radiator for air as well? it would hook in the side wall hole and then hang there and have to hook up 1 or 2 places on the side to make it solid. The top would most likely go all the way to the hood. this will take some designing but i have been working on it now. it would attach and disattach easily. this would try and make it a total cold air intake and i would spray it w a coating to help insulate it. i may even do a small double wall and spray some foam insulation in there to help. this will take a while but i am going to make it where it will ship flat and just put together w small screws. this will take a while so i am going to post pics as i proceed.

I wouldn't be interested here. I bought the CGS to get away from the "box" look, so it would be a step back in my opinion. While I realize it's about maybe getting more power, I'm fine with what I have. Good luck CJ...sounds like an interesting concept.

I made one out of Refletix which anyone can get at Lowes or Home Depot for $20 and the ram air is around $15. brought it to air temp and a true cold air intake.
