i painted them while they were on the steering wheel. just alot of newspaper.

Strange thing now is it is since had a chrome dash kit put in. this isnt a great pic but here it is now

LOL guess I spoke too soon. Better watch it - you're starting to look futuristic more than retro! The chrome gives it a technical look - kinda like T2. In a good way.

well there were a ton of chrome dashes back in the 40 and 50s. just most of the time they had designs on them and alot of them were painted and chrome.
