Shagy's Steering Wheel Done
Well i was working on the bathroom got tired and hot and decided to do the steering wheel. i just tape off the left and right side. used the back of the exacto knife to tuck in the tape around the edges and buttons on the left controls and use the sharp edge to get rid of any long spots. i did the same w the center of the steering wheel. i have some scratches and those still show some i taped the bowtie and then cut around the yellow and left the chrome ring of course

CJ I agree with Brian, I really like the Bowtie with the chrome around it. Also I like the dash. I want to do that sometime because I really have not seen a dash kit yet that fits tightly around the AC Vents at the top. I would like to paint mine silverstone of course. Did you see the new smiley I put up on the site. I thought you would like it.

did you swap out your steering wheel for a darker one or was that your original before you started painting it?

original there is a wrap on it and all i painted was the center and 2 sides

What? :shock: No steering wheel radio controls? Just joking.... :D Looks good.... did you mask off the bowtie on the wheel and then paint? or did you paint the entire thing and sand just the bowtie? or how did you do it? ......Regards

i masked off the whole thing, including the steering wheel center then took a exacto knife and cut out the tape around the chrome bowtie painted the rest,,, pulled tape and chrome bowtie kind of cool,,,tedious but cool Shagy had to be different
