Shagys New Shoes
Got the BF Goodrich TA's- 70,000 mile and then went down and put in the Purigen/nitrogen. so far ride heigth is a lil taller. cornering is not as good as the Goodyear F1's but it shouldnt be. they are sheer performance tires but these are really good. i went and played some on the way home and Shagy still corners awesome and quick and i didnt lose any speed. i will let you know what they feel like in water but they are well rated for water. ride is quieter and less bumpy but the Goodyears had a stiffer sidewall for sidewall protection. i paid $89.03 and total w the $12.50 install it gives the tires road hazard warranty and 3 year road side assistance now, which is a really good deal for $2.50 a tire. $439.99 out the door and same exact tire at Discount tire w the road hazard would have been $469.95 or $526.86 w the free replacement but with no 3 years of road side assistance. All season traction for sporty coupes, touring sedans, passenger cars, minivans, and mini SUVs. The high-mileage tire that takes all-season traction to a new level. What it is: Wet, dry and snow traction 365 days a year. H- and V-rated sizes come with a 60,000-mile Manufacturer’s Limited Treadlife warranty, T-rated sizes with a 70,000-mile Manufacturer’s Limited Treadlife warranty. Who it’s for: Coupe, sedan, minivan and mini-SUV owners who won’t compromise when it comes to smooth ride, long treadlife and outstanding all-season performance. Helps provide exceptional grip in dry, wet and snow without sacrificing tread life** Excellent strength, smooth ride, consistent footprint and maximized tread contact area under high-speed conditions Usually found only in premium, high-performance tires and racing tires; helps increase water evacuation for improved wet traction Profile technology adapted from our Traction T/A® racing tire helps provide flatter footprint, maximizing contact in dry and shallow water for excellent acceleration, cornering and braking Reinforced sidewalls in cornering and lane-change maneuvers for crisp, sure response to steering inputs (T-Rated), 130 mph

Nice tires. I like to go to those next, sometime after my Goldlines arrive and go on. Got a side pic? What happend to the Goodyears?

Sounds like a good deal, CJ. Roadside assistance is always a plus, just incase.

I've got a dumb question. Didn't you just get new tires this time last year? See thread below. forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1540" target="_blank">http://hhrchevyfamily.19.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1540 If Goodyear tires only last a year on a street car, no wonder Tony is complaining.

i wore the good years out. had just the image of the thread showing on the front and 1/16th on the back

OH-SKOOL- 03-15-2008

Wow that was fast. I had BF's on most of my car in the past and was totally satified with them. Nice choice......

Schmodie- 03-15-2008

Best of luck with those CJ ! They look great , and I hope you get the mileage from them .

lizzie- 03-15-2008

If you could see the way he drives........ you'd know why he wore them out......... :rof: Nice shoes, Shagy!!!

CJ N Shagy- 03-15-2008

i had 37000 miles on the goodyear F1s which were high performance tires and they had as much grab w hardly to no thread as they did new. the only thing that suffered was the water driving. i drive alot of miles in a year teaching i average 400 to 450 a week w just mon thru friday and that is just driving while teaching . that still doesnt account for my personal miles or trips. OH BTW some of us put alot of miles on our HHRs in a year 37000 is a first for me

If you could see the way he drives........ you'd know why he wore them out......... :rof: Anyone in attendance in Tulsa will surely get to witness this firsthand!

I've used BF Goodrich tires on my cars also and have never had a problem at all. I've had radial TA's and sport TA's and they both ran fine in water too.
