Shagys New Black OEM Seat Covers got the seat out.
took the plastic off and the old seat covers off (PITA)
painted the plastic and put them back on
this is alot of work doing the OEM covers and the way they do it is kind of alot of extra work
i used wire ties to hook the seats in the grooves. was just easier
i used GM Shadow Blue which is very close to midnight in a spray can and used Duplicolor med blue to make the seat, black, med blue and midnight blue.
the blue middle works better painted since all the flexing is on the side of the seats and puts wrinkles in the paint real soon. the middles have never changed
last time i will have to mess w seat covers
here are pics of drivers side done
