Shagys Custom Catback w Resonator and T924/ video link too
Went to Jerrys Muffler on 9-8 and they made me a catback for Shagy. with the sensor mount and the bending, total cost was $165 out the door and i have my old system if i dont like the new. took them lil over an hour and runs great. nice lower sound, not real loud and i am getting about the same scratch on start off, maybe a touch more in Low, got a nice chirp in 2nd. the big difference is the middle and top end. man does it get with it when i put my foot in it. we did a 2.25 in pipe all the way back and used the T924. i am very pleased with this set up. nice growl on rev and wonderful howl on full take off. i have found w the mods i do, it takes the pc a lil while to figure out what is going on and it gets better after a period of time. they swedged the resonator to 2.25 so there isnt any problem there and it is all welded together and looks and runs awesome As of now since 9-8 i am getting 2 to 2.5 mpg around town more dogging it. i have not had a chance for a road trip so i dont know how that is doing but this increase has been the same since i put it on. i am well pleased will aspects of this mod. i did the video as a walkaround so you could hear it in back, front and inside and out. hope you enjoy http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6537824603353310578

I've had the pleasure of hearing it in person and it IS sweet! A noticable difference from before with just the 924 on it. I has a lower tone (growl) and sounds great! CBL

Well, I got my catback done today. I guess you can say it's a true catback because they did not put the resonator back on. HOWEVER, it's not needed. For some reason, she's just as quiet as she was before. She gets a little louder when I take her over 4k RPM's, but that's still more of the AIraid rather than the catback. I get her on the hwy though and she purrs like a kitten. There isn't really much change in the HP in the low end. In the mid to top end, I could tell difference in acceleration once on the hwy. She's going to be a lot more fun to ride when cruising down the highway now. I'm happy with it.

That's strange; we've done a bunch of exhausts/catbacks here and every time we removed the resonator they were extremely LOUD! So loud, we put the res back on! Glad yours worked out well.

i still think if you put Raven and mine side by side w mine having the resonator,,, mine would be louder.

Ooops! I forgot - they are only little 2.2's! :P
