Seat Covers & Floor Mats
Getting really fed up with how easily the front seats of my HHR soil, so I went to K-Mart today and found some seat covers for Smoke. They also had some very cool floor mats, so I got them too. I'll have to do a few minor modifications to them to accomodate the armrests and the seat switch on the drivers side, but just throwing them on for an initial fit, it seems they will work quite nicely. Not bad for $29.99 at K-Mart...found them online and they were $63.99. :( Also found these cool floormats. I think the black will work better, as all the lighter color ones show every little speck of dirt and/or mud that gets in the car when it rains or snows. Think I might also check with the dealer and get the mudflaps that match these as well. Think they are $15.99 a set if I remember right. I like these because the gold bowtie on them matches the pinstripe I have, so when I get the mudflaps, it will all tie in nicely. The mats were $29.99 as well, which isn't too bad a deal...and I was there and just couldn't resist them. :lol:

I like the floor mats. May have to run pick up a set myself. I don't like the carpeted mats, too much water in them by the time winter sets in for good. Nice find. Thanks for sharing :)

I went on a shopping spree for seat covers Sunday too. Didn't find any that I wanted. These look good! We don't have a kmart so I'll just have to keep searching.... Love the floor mats also!

Did some looking around and it appears that Parts America has them for $29.88, which means you might be able to get them from Checker, Auto Zone or Advance Auto. The part number is 21352-13 for the tan. You might want to give your local store a call and see if they have any in stock. Last time I cleaned mine, I Scotchgarded the heck out of mine and it sure seems to have helped. I do like the looks of those tho Deb! Definitely get us some pics when ya get time... CBL

OK folks...here's the deal. The seat covers fit "ok" for the price, but are a pain to get installed. The round hook thingies came out on the drivers side cover, but we managed to get them on and they are a reasonable fit. Still thinking about purchasing the leather look ones on ebay and have received feedback from someone who purchased them and have asked for some pictures. Will see if they can do that for me and maybe even join the forum. On with the pictures...like I said, they fit ok for the price and will definitely be better than the dirty seat issue I have been fighting. Below them I have also posted a couple pictures of the floormats...which look great.
